Do you meet all the CILB requirements to renew my contractors license?
Yes, Florida Contractor Course A & B satisfies all 14 required hours for the Construction Industry Licensing Board. THESE 14 HOURS DO NOT INCLUDE THE NEW 1 HOUR POOL AND SPA ELECTRICAL C.E. REQUIREMENT BEGINNING WITH 2020 RENEWAL

I am an electrical contractor - can I take your course?
Yes, you can take Florida Contractor Course A which is approved by the ECLB and receive 1 hour of CE Credit in Advanced Module, BSP, WPS, and W/C. Please be advised that the Laws & Rules CE hour along with any Technical hours you need to satisfy your Electrical Contractors License Renewal are not covered in the Live Seminar, but can be completed on our website/online courses. Please view the online courses page for these hours or contact Kelly at 941-924-5825.

Will I get credit towards my Home Inspectors license?
The Home Inspectors Board will apply 7 General C.E. hours towards your Home Inspector license by taking both Florida Contractor Course A and Florida Contractor Course B Live Seminars for your Construction License.

How many Florida Board of Professional Engineers pdh credits can I receive?
By taking either Florida Contractor Course A or B you will receive 4 pdh hours for Areas of Practice
|

Do you report to the State that we have completed our CE hours?
You will receive a certificate of completion after class and we take care of reporting your completed CE hours electronically to the State within a week of the class
|

What are the classroom times?
The All in One Day (14 hr) Seminar begins at 7:00 am and ends at 7:30 pm. You get 4 mini breaks throughout the day. Bring your own lunch.
The 2 Day Seminars begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m., both days. You get one morning break and an hour for lunch from Noon to 1:00 pm., both days.

What is your cancellation/refund policy for Live Seminars?
You may cancel your live seminar registration and receive a full refund up to 1 week prior to your scheduled class date. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and emailed to info@constructioncomedy.com There are NO refunds for cancellations within the week of the seminar. You will receive a credit to reschedule for a future seminar class date (based on availability) or you may request to be transferred to our online continuing education courses.

What is your rescheduling policy for Live Seminars?
We will reschedule your live seminar 1 time as a courtesy at no additional charge. Any further rescheduling of your seminar is subject to availability, and will incur a $25 rescheduling fee. All requests for rescheduling must be submitted in writing and emailed to info@constructioncomedy.com

What happens if I miss my Live Seminar class?
You can email our office info@constructioncomedy.com and request to be rescheduled into another live seminar class (subject to availability) or to be transferred to our online continuing education courses. There are NO refunds for missed seminar classes.
