Yes, Florida Contractor Course A & B satisfies all 14 required hours for the Construction Industry Licensing Board. THESE 14 HOURS DO NOT INCLUDE THE NEW 1 HOUR POOL AND SPA ELECTRICAL C.E. REQUIREMENT BEGINNING WITH 2020 RENEWAL

I am an electrical contractor - can I take your course?
Yes, you can take Florida Contractor Course A for 6 hours towards your 14 required. You also need 7 hours of Technical CE - we can recommend some companies that provide these technical c.e.'s. You also need to fulfill the new ECLB requirement of Laws and Rulesl. This course is available on our website for $17

Will I get credit towards my Home Inspectors license?
The Home Inspectors Board will apply 7 General C.E. hours towards your Home Inspector license by taking both Florida Contractor Course A and Florida Contractor Course B Live Seminars for your Construction License.

How many Florida Board of Professional Engineers pdh credits can I receive?
By taking either Florida Contractor Course A or B you will receive 4 pdh hours for Areas of Practice

Do you report to the State that we have completed our CE hours?
You will receive a certificate of completion after class and your hours are reported electronically to the State within a week of the class

What are the classroom times?
1 Day seminars begin at 7:00 am and end at 7:30 pm. You get 4 mini breaks throughout the day. Bring your own lunch.
2 Day Seminars begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. You get one morning break and an hour for lunch from noon to 1:00 pm.

If I log off while I am taking an online course will the computer remember where I left off?
Yes, you can log off once you complete a section and hit finished - all of your progress will be saved

Can I check my online class progress?
Yes, On your Student Menu it shows each class you are in and what your status is.
|

What makes your online courses so different from all the other schools?
Our presentation.of the material. Carmen has voiced over every course in the most interesting way possible. Every course is sprinkled with the appropriate amount of humor and wit.

How do you make your online courses move along and not boring?
We have broken up each course into 3-5 minute sections so you're not looking at the same screen too long. Each section has at least one graphic and all have audio

Do I have to listen to the audio on the online school?
No, you can turn your computer's volume off. Our courses have full text if you prefer to read.

How do I register for Online Classes?
Click Online Classes at the top of the Home page or the computer laptop icon in the center, this will bring you to the One Step Button for you to enroll in the CILB approved 14 hours of Continuing Education. You will then need to complete and save the New Student Sign Up form before proceeding to the checkout for payment of your online classes.

I am already an existing user how do I access my information and purchase Online Classes?
Click on the Login at the top right hand corner of the Home Page and enter your existing user name and password, then sign-in.

I forgot my user name and password?
Click on Login at the top right hand corner of the Home Page then click on FORGOT LOGIN enter your Contractors License number and hit SUBMIT you will then see your User Name and Password associated with your profile to LOGIN.

When and How can I start taking my Online Classes?
Once you have completed the payment process/checkout and have confirmed your order you will be asked if you would like to “Enter” the classes at this time. If you prefer to take them later, simply Logout and when you are ready to start taking them, click on the Login button at the top of the Home Page, enter your user name and password, sign in and your classes will be in your student profile. Simply click on the words “Enter Class” that appears to the left above each course to begin taking them.

I am taking 14 hours but I only see 10 courses that I purchased?
The 10 courses total the 14 hour C.E. requirement. Some of the courses are 50 minutes in length and others are 100 minutes in length.

Can I listen and read the courses at the same time?
Yes, our Online Classes are audio instructed by Carmen Ciricillo and you are able to read the course content material as you listen to him instruct.

Do I have to be online for the entire 14 hours?
No you do not. These courses contain timed sections. If you choose to complete only 1 or 2 sections at a time within a course and need to logoff, you can do so and it will pick up in the next section where you left off. Please remember, DO NOT logoff in the middle of a timed section, wait for the timer to expire before you logoff or proceed to the next section.

How long do I have to complete the Online Classes?
There is no set time limit, these courses once purchased remain in your student profile until they are completed. However, if you would like to receive C.E. Credit from the State you must complete them prior to the end of the renewal cycle.

How do I know if I completed a course(s)?
A course status bar appears above each course when you login to your profile, this will show how many sections you have completed in each course you are taking. After the final section is completed within a course it will say “Finish” to complete and print certificate.

Will I receive a certificate of completion?
You are able to print certificates for each course that you complete. When you login to your student profile all courses that have been completed will show with the date of the completion and the option to Print Certificate.

Do I need to send in my certificates to the State?
No the state does not require you to send in your certificates of completion unless you are re-activating an inactive license. These certificates are for your own records and will remain in your student profile.

When and how are the C.E. hours reported to the State?
The C.E. courses you complete online are reported electronically on a daily basis to the State as you complete them. These reports are generated to the State at random times throughout the day. They do not transmit to the States website until midnight of the day reported. Please note that any courses completed after business hours may not get reported until the following day.

Where can I verify that my C.E. hours have been posted to the States website?
